Going to the zoo!

It has been two weeks are so since my hubby quit smoking. He is doing so much better and we are saving money. I am so happy and so is he and nothing got thrown.

Next weekend we are going on a long awaited vacation. We are going with another couple my BFF's and their daughter and we are all going to the Omaha zoo. We are staying in a hotel. We haven done that for years. We are going to go shopping in a new state and eat in restaurants. (oh and see animals lol) I am so excited. I am bring my camera and will have tons of animal pics to share.

Both the big kids are doing great in school. I am loving one on one time with little A. I bought some flash cards and we have been working on them during the day.

Thursday evening my husband quit smoking cigarettes.That is great and I am so proud of him. He is sooooo grouchy. OMG every little thing he just jumps on. He is like a grizzly bear that you woke up in the middle of winter because you went in the the wrong cave the party cave was one over. He usually just laugh things off not this week.no. I wounder how long this last. I swear If he gets upset over noting one more time i am going to throw a pack of cigarettes at his head.

Our new kitten

We Got a new kitten. We took one of the neighbors kittens. She is such a little snuggle kitten. She loves to tackle feet My oldest named her Taco cat. Why taco cat because it is spelled the same frontward as it is backwards.Soon as we got her she was littered trained. We love her so much already.


I gave taco her first bath.Not her favorite thing.

home improvments

Little A on new swing set with new fence behind him.

I am sorry I have been away so long. We have been doing home improvements and have been so busy.
First - we put up a fence around the yard so Little A cant get out. It looks so nice and so useful. Before when i was picking veggies in the garden I had to be so careful that he didnt go around front and cross the street or run down the block. Now when we go outside in the yard it is so much easier.

Second - we put up a swing set (ok not home improvement But little A has really been wanting one. It took 8 hours to put up. omg funny story. after three hours hubby said tada it is done that wasnt so bad. then he tried to put the swing in the top bar was on upside down. we had to take almost everything off to fix it. lol the he kept putting things on backwards and then having to fix it was 11 at night i am holding the flashlight. it was finally done. except the slide. the next day i sat down to help hubby put on the slide. i sat on a bumble bee. now my butt hurts and the bee is dead and flat.



Third - We are putting in a new floor in the living room and dining room.
We cut and rolled up the old yucky carpet. Then we pulled out the staples and then put down padding and pretty flooring. I stayed up till 3 am two day min a row but it is almost done and i love it.
